After seeing what the Tapsters do in Plzeň, I knew I had to bring this experience to Berlin. In Berlin there are many nationalities living together. We have beers from Berlin and Germany, as well as a very big selection of beers from other countries. Pilsner Urquell has a fantastic flavour of freshness and it’s not too hard. Bavarian beers go so high in alcohol that they become hard to drink. In Germany, people expect the foam over the glass so if it is not above the top customers ask why. I explain to them how the Pilsner Urquell glass is designed to accommodate the wet foam and sit perfectly inside.

If you were a beer, what beer would you be?

Before I went to Plzeň I thought I was a Bavarian helles, but now I’ve learnt much more about Pilsner Urquell, this is my favourite beer. It’s changed me.
