I’ve been in the beer business since 1995 – at first installing draught equipment, then as a sales rep before joining Dreher Breweries. Now I train bartenders. I help run a programme called Quality Draught Beer Programme in Hungary. At the moment there are 50 bars but we hope to reach 500 in a few years. I teach them the importance of the perfect pour, keg care, why they should clean their lines. It’s all about quality! I’ve been to Plzen about nine times now – I absolutely love it. I’m proud that I had a small part in helping to bring tank beer to Hungary.
If you were a beer, what beer would you be?
During the week I’d be Arany Ászok, a local mainstream brand in Hungary that’s easy to drink. But on the weekend I’d be Pilsner Urquell as it’s emotional for me. It’s in my soul!
