“IT GIVES ME JOY TO SEE THE FACE OF THE CUSTOMER WHEN I PUT THE BEER DOWN – THEY LOOK SO HAPPY AND I FEEL PROUD”

Being a Tapster is about confidence. You have to love the beer. It’s mostly about consistency – it’s important to make every serve the same and to make it look perfect. We have a lot of Stamgasts, or locals. More and more come for the beer. Word is spreading. Foam balances the beer – that it is how they drink it in Czech. It’s protecting the beer to keep it fresh. I say, “You should trust me – I am an expert.” I live over Gloria Bar in a flat, everyone knows me – it’s a small town feeling. I am happy I just have to go down some stairs whenever I want to drink great beer. I’m working on installing a pipe from the bar to my flat – so I can satisfy my thirst whenever I need to!

If you were a beer, what beer would you be?

I’d be a Pale Ale to match my complexion! It’s a beer you can’t get enough of!
