“I DON’T SELL THE BEER, I SELL THE CULTURE”

The Germans think they make the best beer in the world but that’s not true – they simply sell beer, they don’t inhabit the beer. Pilsner Urquell is THE beer. The foam defines the beer – it makes it better. It’s not typical dry foam – it’s the best foam in the world. The Germans know that Pilsner Urquell is the best quality – they ask for it by name. I am the first Bulgarian Tapster. Bulgarians love drinking beer – but we don’t have a typical style in our country. In the future I want to tell the whole world the story of Pilsner Urquell. To be a good Tapster you have to love talking to people. You need to be smooth and elegant – to have your own style. I love to talk to people when I’m pouring their beer – to explain to them what it is and why it is what it is.

If you were a beer, what beer would you be?

I’d be a Hladinka. It’s a classic – tastes amazing, loved by everyone and most importantly, goes well with everything!
